Letters from the Front, Brewster in the Military

April 24, 2025 Brewster Historical

Through the decades, Brewster residents have served in each national conflict. Their letters to and from far-flung locations helped them stay connected to home and family.

Come see, read, and hear from these soldiers as we share their wartime experiences and longings for home. View a special exhibit of military ephemera from our BHS collections and personal collections from Brewster homes and families.

Letters from the Front

Added for the 250th Celebration is a continuously running slide show of the colorful murals from the former Brewster Drummer Boy Museum depicting scenes from the Revolutionary War!
