Letters from the Front

From the Boston Tea Party to today, Brewster residents have served in every major conflict, taking part in the broader tapestry of our American heritage. Their missives from far-flung locations helped them stay connected with home and family, while offering us a glimpse into the lives of those directly impacted by these events.

We invite you to see, read, and hear from the soldiers through their letters and photographs, as they share their wartime experiences and yearning for home.
