A Juneteenth Celebration  

Come celebrate Juneteenth with us at the Brewster Historical Society Windmill Village as we open for the 2025 season. The c.1795 Harris-Black House and Higgins Farm Windmill will open with guided tours and the c.1867 Hopkins Blacksmith Shop with its original wood forge will offer blacksmith demonstrations. Informational panels about the early history of slavery in Brewster will be displayed at both Windmill Village and Cobb House Museum. This event is free and family friendly.
